Brewski - A Portrait of Courage

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Brewski, a beautiful Labrador Retriever.  Brewski,  like most labs, is full of life and love but what set him apart was truly heartbreaking.  Brewski had been recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.  When I first spoke with Brewski's owner and she told me about Brewski's condition my heart immediately broke for him and his family.  As the day of the shoot drew closer and I would begin to think about Brewski it would bring tears to my eyes. I really didn't know what to expect. 

The day of the shoot arrived, and what I experienced that day was incredible!  Brewski was so brave that if I hadn't known he had cancer it would have never occurred to me.  I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story!
